Job Title: Business Analyst
Contract: initial contract 6 months with possible extension
Location: Brisbane City Fringe 

Our client is a renowned not-for-profit charity. They are hiring an experienced Business Analyst with an immediate start. If you are keen to make a difference with your capability and skills, please don't hesitate to apply for this role. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake project activities such as estimation, requirements gathering, analysis, testing, implementation and creation of documents.
- Assist with project activates such as planning, change management, review and updates of project status.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with others, including managers, co-workers, other internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitating collaboration within between Technology disciplines to technical feasibility of proposals.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to identify changes in project scope and schedule based on change management.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Identify and quantify risk, makes recommendations for risk mitigation and contingency plans. Escalate anticipated risk to the Project Manager promptly and properly.

Major requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years in business analyst role, including performance of analysis, planning, system changes and testing tasks.
- Substantial level of communication skills to effectively develop relationships at varying levels of the organisation (peers, managers, end users, vendors).
- Substantial level of problem solving skills, implementation of system changes, system and user acceptance testing.
- Substantial level of skill in the preparation and maintenance of documentation, such as requirements, functional design, process maps, testing, and procedures.
- Demonstrated substantial ability to set priorities, plan and organise own work, plus demonstrate a level of self-management.
- Full life-cycle experience (including design, development, testing, etc.) in the delivery of a wide variety of enterprise software solutions.
Good understanding of and ability to apply the principles of software design.

- Agile / PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
